Genesis 1&2 .

If you are a believer in Jesus Christ, do you have an intimate relationship with God? When God made the world, He first made the heavens and the earth and everything else in it before He created man. God created man for a unique purpose – that is to glorify Him here on earth. Adam was made  in charge of all that God has created in an environment called The Garden of Eden.

God was in charge, but He designated control of all that He has made into the hands of Adam. God made Adam partly body and partly spirit being. I believe also that, Adam was fully a spiritual being when God made him, because he was pure and holy and constantly walking with God. (Genesis 2 v 7 and 15).

In fact God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit first spoke the existence of Adam and Eve, both male and female in the spiritual realm (Genesis 1 v 26 – 27) before Adam was formed with the dust of the ground. (Genesis 2 v 7). Also God was in constant touch with Adam. The bible states that an intimate relationship exists between God and Adam (Genesis 3 v 8). When you know Jesus and have an intimate relationship with Him, you will receive the fullness of joy (1st John 4:8).  Please see illustration below.

One aspect of this relationship was that it made Adam unique. Adam had dominion in the Eden environment by authority to give names to the animals and plants that God has created. This signifies that Adam was blessed with the anointing of perfection (Genesis 2:19). Adam was blessed by God because in the initial stages of his existence he loved God and obeyed him. Adam was part of God’s excellence creation because it was documented in Genesis 1 that at each stage of God’s creation He takes stock, confirms and pronounce it was good before He moves on to the next stage.

God is prefect therefore, Adam was created perfect in every way. As a believer, the only way to maintain your intimate relationship with God and keep it is to aspire perfection and righteousness in every thing that you do. Make it your prayer today and ask God to anoint your hands to produce perfect work in everything that you lay your hands on. Say it like this – I started this work, I received God’s anointing to progress it and now I have finished it. I have examined it and saw it was good.
